Antaŭkongresa modela teksto en la angla

During the week from July 23 through July 30, 2011, The 96th Universal Esperanto Congress will take place in Denmark’s capital city, Copenhagen from July 23th until July 30th 2011.

Several thousand Esperanto speakers from many different countries will participate in the congress, during which they will discuss the congress’s main theme: “Dialogue and mutual understanding” as well as take part in a wide range of different meetings and workshops, conferences within a cultural programmme entirely in the International Language.

The event is unique because participants will communicate with each other without interpreters by using the international, neutral language of Esperanto.

This language is 124 years old, has its own culture. Tens of thousands of books and magazines, television and radio programs have been made public in Esperanto.

The language is now self-sufficient and quite alive. Esperanto continues to evolve and the number of speakers steadily grows.

..necesas kontroli ejqhon (= ag^on) de Esperanto ,mi supozas ,ke qhyi estas 134+jara ,sed ne 124+jara: "This language is 134 years old" /..dhis lyanhgwiqh iz jLVB jyoeh(rh)z ouhld/.

Pli bone: (about) two thousand ol several thousand
Pli bone: 48 countries from all continents (mi ne nombris, tio estas nur ekzemplo) ol many different countries.
Pli bone: In the framework (?) of the International Year of (the ?) Youth the theme chosen for the congress will be “Dialogue and mutual understanding”
Mi dubas chu la frazo "The event is unique because participants will communicate with each other without interpreters by using the international, neutral language of Esperanto." estas prava.
Post 124 jaroj estas nenio unkia pri tio.
Mi dubas chu "This language ............. has its own culture." estas firma fakto. Pli bone estus skribi ekzemple: "This language is 124 years old and is in daily use by thousands of people all over the world, who shape their own culture. Tens of thousands of books and ..."
La frazo "The language is now self-sufficient and quite alive. Esperanto continues to evolve" estas malnovajho, ne menciinda.
"the number of speakers steadily grows." estas pruvinda au ellasinda.
